Structure and parts of slewing bearing
When it comes to slewing drives, and we all think of slewing bearings. The slewing drive is generally composed of worm, slewing bearing, housing, motor and other components. Because the core component is a slewing bearing, the slewing drive can simultaneously accept axial force, radial force and tipping moment. It is different from the slewing ring bearing in terms of structural composition. Slewing bearing includes: inner ring/outer ring (with or without teeth), sealing ring, rolling elements (balls or rollers), grease nipples, plugs, taper pins, spacers, etc. The spacer block is generally a nylon spacer block, which can keep the slewing bearing running smoothly.
Regarding the selection of the slewing bearing material, the slewing bearing ring is made of surface hardened steel. When the user has no special requirements, the 50Mn material is generally used. However, sometimes customers will require other materials, for example 42CrMo, in order to meet the needs of the host in special applications. In addition to the difference in materials, sometimes the materials are processed, such as "T" indicating that the ferrule blank is quenched and tempered.
Slewing bearings are widely used, including Construction machinery, Lifting machinery, Forestry machinery, Automation equipment, Special vehicle and Other field.
