Slewing bearing is also a widely used bearing, there are many classifications, from tower cranes to wind turbines, using different types of slewing bearings. The bearing can be divided into single-row ball slewing bearings, double-row ball slewing bearings, a row of crossed rollers, Two rows of rollers or three rows of rollers. The inner rolling elements can be balls or rollers.


Slewing bearing accounting theory: When calculating the load carried after the slewing bearing is dimensioned, one of the first criteria used is to limit the contact pressure between the rolling elements and the raceway. Therefore, calculating the static bearing capacity is the most basic, specifying the force received by the rolling elements of the heaviest bearing slewing bearing. For this, the force distribution and contact angle of the slewing bearing rolling elements must be known.

The load distribution in the rolling body provides very useful information for calculating the slewing bearing. The two rings that make up the slewing bearing are usually bolted to the structure. The load distribution of the slewing bearing helps to verify the information of the threaded assembly. When calculating the load distribution in the slewing ring, the relative displacement between the rings of the slewing ring is also calculated.
